Communicate the Essentials In hours, not days, you can learn how to do everything in TAS Online. You can add map themes with a single click. With TAS Online, you can choose from a number of custom demographic reports for the places you are interested in. You can create reports based on rings, drive times, or user drawn trade areas. Your company logo will be included on your reports, which you can export to Excel or PDF. And with TAS Retrieval technology, you’ll have the most accurate and precise demographic data available.

Powerful & Easy to UseBuilt using Microsoft® Bing™ Maps technology, TAS Online is accessible from an Internet Explorer or Mozilla Firefox browser. It’s easy to find any location; we’ve integrated the application with several best-of-breed geocoding engines. Drive time polygons are calculated using the highly-accurate Guzzler™ engine, although TAS Online supports the integration of alternative drive time engines. In addition to drive times, it is easy to analyze trade areas using rings or user-drawn polygons. And our open data architecture allows you to bring your own data into TAS Online.

Flexible Architecture TAS Online is built utilizing the latest in web user interface technologies, and sits on top of a Service-Oriented Architecture. TAS Online consumes services written by Trade Area Systems that allow customers to integrate their own location-based data, utilizing Microsoft SQL Server, all with little or no customization. Additionally, we provide documentation and a development SDK to integrate your own services into TAS Online.

Flexible Hosting Model Our flexible hosting models allow you to design the implementation that best fits your organization. The system can be hosted within the Trade Area Systems secure datacenter, hosted completely within your organization, or a combination of the two. Each of these options enables data sharing with Trade Area Analyst. We help you to evaluate the choices based on your security requirements and other specific needs.

Secure Connections TAS Online utilizes a roles-based security model, with user access via a login screen or Single Sign-On. An administrator defines roles for each user, according to their job task, such as construction developer, contractor, deal administrator, or analyst. User functionality can be limited to varying levels, such as administrative access, the ability to add points to a map, or the ability to generate reports.

Additionally, TAS Geographic Filtering allows for restricting data access to varying levels of geography. This allows individuals, inside or outside your organization, to have access only to the geographic areas they need. Each data source has its own geographic security, so users can access all data for some sources, while having limited access to others.
